Storage conditions

Environmental requirements: Store in a cool, dry, ventilated, sealed warehouse, avoid direct sunlight, and control the warehouse temperature between 5ºC-30ºC and relative humidity ≤70%. When the temperature is below 21ºC, the product may solidify, which is normal. Melting will not affect the performance.

Packaging management: Keep the lid of the unopened product sealed; tighten the lid immediately after opening. Do not transfer the remaining product to non-corrosion-resistant containers such as iron drums to prevent corrosion of the container and product contamination.

Storage specifications: Product barrels should be placed on corrosion-resistant pallets, at least 20cm away from the ground and walls; stored separately from acidic substances and food-grade raw materials, marked with batch number and storage date, and follow the "first in, first out" principle.

Storage period: If the above conditions are met, the unopened product has a shelf life of 18 months. After opening, it is recommended to use it within 1 month to avoid moisture absorption affecting the concentration.

FAQ

1. How should the product be handled after solidification at low temperatures? Does it affect its use?

A: It tends to solidify when the temperature is below 21°C. This is a physical change and does not affect performance. You can move it to a 25°C-30°C environment to melt naturally, or heat it in a warm water bath ≤40°C (direct heating with open flame is prohibited). Once melted, stir well and use normally.

2. Can TEA85% be stored in ordinary plastic barrels for a long time?

A: Not recommended. Ordinary PP plastic barrels can be used for short-term storage (within 1 month), but HDPE plastic barrels are recommended for long-term storage because they are more alkali-resistant, can prevent barrel aging, leakage, and prevent product contamination.

3. What are the risks of the product coming into contact with acidic substances?

A: Contact with strong acids (such as hydrochlori c acid and sulfuri c acid) will cause a violent exothermic reaction, which may cause liquid splashing and container damage. Strict isolation is required during operation. If accidentally contacted, immediately move away and ventilate to cool down. Wait until the temperature stabilizes before properly handling.

4. Can different batches of TEA85% be mixed?

Answer: If the technical indicators between batches (such as content, pH value) meet the standards, they can be mixed and used. Before mixing, it is recommended to take a small amount of sample to test the compatibility, and confirm that there are no abnormal phenomena such as stratification and precipitation before mixing in batches.
